A little about me
Born in Wixom, Michigan and growing up in Richmond, Kentucky, I was lucky (I think lucky) to experience two ways of life at an early age. I spent my summers in Michigan for most of my youth, which instilled in me a wanderlust that persists to this day. I've lived all over the country - Michigan, Kentucky, Colorado, California (twice), Washington, Florida - and now back to Kentucky/Ohio(ish). And if there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that people can be amazing and this place - America - is weird.
At 22, I left Kentucky and drove to Colorado to pursue my dream of being a filmmaker. That had mixed results. But, sometimes it’s the failures that mean the most in your life. Despite the setbacks, life has given me one hell of a ride so far. Chasing that dream took me to Los Angeles (very briefly), San Diego, Washington, and Florida. Along the way I’ve been lucky to meet some of the most amazing people who I will always carry with me in my heart.
My travels, successes, and failures have shaped who I am as an artist. I strive for authenticity in the stories I tell and to see past the superficial. Art and life is all about change and growth. I hope to become a better person through my art and find meaningful connection to the world I live in.
